It’s Hip to be Square

I was trying to think of a title for this post and of course this song came to mind.  So now all of y’all can get it stuck in your head too.

I’ve been on a square kick lately.  Last week I set out on a mission to start getting rid of some fabric that I’ve had since last year.  Time to finish (er, start) those quilts and get them into the store.  My first collection up for stash busting was Dick and Jane.  Apparently I’ve hoarded a lot of that since I managed to make enough blocks for 3 quilt tops (56×63, 42×56 and 42×42).  I might keep the small one for the kids (because they really are lacking in quilts </sarcasm>).  Ironed but still need trimming. They’ll be in the shop starting next week or so.

And then the last two Christmas quilts (both have been claimed).  They are all pinned and quliting starts tonight.

I promise the next quilt won’t be full of squares… maybe…
