I’ve been meaning to teach Maeve to sew for some time. We headed to the fabric store this afternoon and she picked out all the fabrics (and was thoroughly annoyed that she didn’t get to buy her own thread and use her own sewing machine). She started off in my lap but then kicked me out of the chair.
So here is out progress so far. We have 9 four patches. The backing is solid yellow and the binding is black. Her seams are far from perfect. I had to keep reminding myself that she’s four and not going to make perfect 1/4″ seams. Hehe…

I am 29 and my 1/4 inch seams are still bad. LOL! I can not wait to teach my daughter how to quilt! Happy Quilting!!!
