The Next Really Big Project… and some Randomness

Liam’s Big Boy Quilt.  Yay!  But I’m a little sniffley that he’s getting towards the age of needing one.  I won’t start sewing it until after the holidays but I’ve started fabric collecting now.

At least I’ll have some (about 30 miles) thread to sew with.

I cleaned up all the fabric that was strewn about the room (except for some VHC, D&J and Christmas that is in neat stacks elsewhere – about 5 quilts total).  I was supposed to cut back on my fabric shopping.  That’s not going too well.  It used to all fit in the cubbies.  And then it overflowed onto the top.  And now it’s piling up in front.  I’d like to put myself of a fabric buying hiatus but that’s so not going to happen.

The week is all about patterns.  I’m working on three of them this week.  Hopefully they will be in the shop soon.

I would exclaim, “That’s a lot of fabric!!!” but you’d proball do the same thing if you knew how much scrapbooking paper I have.

That looks like a great assortment … I wish I could see more! I especially like the looks of the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th fabrics from the top … those little ticking stripes … where are they from?
