Apparently go to Chick-fil-A.

Really?  A treat for this special day is fat-filled fried fast food? Um, no thanks.  Way to go Wake County in helping curb that whole childhood obesity epidemic thing! </sarcasm>  And I’m sure  one of those combo meals must be vegetarian right?  You do have at least one veg*n option (that isn’t a freakin’ salad.  Restaurants: please learn that there is more to a vegetarian diet than salads.)?  Right?  Oh, actually you don’t.   So, no, we won’t be visiting.  And I swear if the school sends home these things on a regular basis as a “reward” they are *so* getting a nastygram from me.  I shall step down from my soapbox now…

(Do I sound like the meanest mom ever? Whoops!  Oh well…)

But a woohoo for Maeve!! She’s going to Kindy!!  We are in a multi-track year round school (read: monumental $*&@#*$ mess!) so she might start in July.  We find out in April which track we’re on.

… that they started to melt the chocolate chips.

And a little !!!!!.  Raleigh peeps — did you hear that Lego is coming to Crabtree!!!!!  Holy guacamole.  My AmEx is so screwed.  I wub them and I’ve brainwashed my children to love them too.  May can’t come soon enough…

I inspired myself on this one.  Quilt here.

Maeve was my quilt holder for this one.  Poor Sean.  He doesn’t get to help think up pattern titles *or* hold up quilts for pictures anymore.  Hehe.

Cool swirly quilting.
