A different kind of quilt (more Wall-E and EVE lovin’)

So we quickly learned with Sean’s car that the downside of sedans vs. vans was that the little boogers can kick the backs of the front seats (and in the process get them very dirty).  Well I had the perfect solution for the new car.  A quick trip to Wish, a small dive into the stash and out came these!

EVE on pink for Maeve.

And a little Wall-E for Mr. Liam.  They are both densely quilted and raw edge appliquéd.  They are basically quilt aprons tied to the seats (and not obstructing airbags).

And the plant they are both holding?  It’s not the one Pixar gave EVE.  It’s the one Honda gave the Insight (yes, I realize how dorky that was to do).

We spent the morning out and about with a constant chorus of “Wall-E!!! EVE!!! Wall-E!!! EVE!!! Wall-E!!! EVE!!!” coming from the back seat.

Finally, he gets to chase her!

I stumbled on these looking for a Wall-e quilt block. Cutest things ever! My kids love Wall-e.
