He'll do 'milk' and 'more' but that's it despite our best efforts. His speech therapist says he's the first kid she's had that refuses to talk *and* sign. It can be a godsend for those months when expressive language hasn't caught up to receptive language, and it's relatively easy to learn. There are books out on baby sign language - you could probably get one from your library. Start with the basics - car, cookie, more, mommy, daddy, go, down - he'll probably be thrilled!
