May 2009

It all starts tomorrow (ok, that sounds dorky)…

Raleigh is officially a real city — we now have a Lego store.

We wondered around the glowing yellow store for way too long.

And the obsession with the really big lego continues…

Rewind 2+ years …

Oh, we will be back…

I totally want a big lego as a coffee table.  There.  I admitted it.  I (still) love legos.

$43

Apparently when Maeve was born, we got the energy efficient model.  Just $43 a year to maintain a 4 year old.  Woohoo!

Like the Laundromaty room closet?  We’ll get into that in a couple days.  (Please someone take away my strikethrough button.)

Ever wonder what I look like?  This is part of the Mother’s Day projects she did at school.  That’s me.  Curly hair and all.

And to celebrate the day, the little ones cooked me dinner (ok, so Mother’s Day was how many days ago?  I’m really behind this week).

Well, Liam didn’t help by cooking.  He really just took a long nap to let Maeve release her inner Gordon Ramsay.

And the Space Invaders have invaded 540.  Run!

Look for a boatload of quilts Sunday-Mondays-ish.

… ’cause you’re getting a Simpsons stamp*. :-)

I had to.  I <3 the Simpsons.

* and a bighorn sheep stamp.  Perfect combo!  Don’t you just automatically think bighorn sheep when you see the Simpsons?  I do!  (Patterns are over 1 ounce.)

More, ahem, proper posts next week.

Completely zonked.
