I'm having no luck using the free motion on this Pfaff Expression 4 two weeks old. 5 stitches or less and the thread breaks. Nothing changes using different needles or different thread. Threads catches way up in the top tension often getting stuck. Straight stitching is fine no matter the thread or the needle. I'm very disappointed with this machine. My Pfaff 2058 has turned out many free motion pieces with no problem. Just shows newer is not necessarily better! What machine did you use for these free motion triangles?
