Rita makes a good point about the a's and g's. We were having that problem with Maeve sometime last year and I searched through every font I had to find one the a's and g's she knew. I was determined to find one that was not Comic Sans! Thankfully I succeeded!

Too cute! A girl after my own heart.
One of the good things about comic sans is that it utilizes the style of lower case "a" that children are learning to write. When my son was first learning to read he found the "a" and "g" letters that are typically used in print confusing.
