Vacuum Sealed for Freshness

Because stale quilts are yucky.

The joys of fitting an entire Quilt Market booth into a compact hybrid.  But at least I can get to Houston for only $60 in gas!

I did a test on how the quilts would turn out after being vacuum packed in Space Bags and they fared suprisingly well.  I’ll probably still be spending some quality time with an iron once we get there though.  But at least they (might) fit into the car.  Maybe… Hopefully…

Is this going to be “It’s a Good Thing We Played a Lot of Tetris as Kids” part 2? LOL

    Good luck with the market!!

I think we’re going to have to be Grand Master Poobah Tetris players for Market. lol

Could you bring a steamer? Or just drop by a laundromat for a half hour and put them in a bunch of dryers to tumble? Seems like the iron would take forever.

Doesn’t ironing 18 quilts after spending 2 days in the car sound fun to you? (haha!) They are all folded in half and then rolled so there is just one seam to crease. Maybe I’ll just advertise them as cool, wrinkly quilts?

Great idea on the packing! Bon Voyage and see you there!!
