The Making of a Wall Quilt

Wall quilts are usually a quilt with a sleeve hanging on a wall.  Not here!

And now I present: Modern Rose Garden: Wall Version.

It’s amazing what you can get done when the kids go to school. I hope to have the whole room done in a couple weeks (have to make curtains, quilt, sheets, pillows, etc).

    Um, I’m gonna have to go with no. ;) My poor ol’ arthritic self had a hard enough time getting that one wall painted (I hear violins…).

    That looks really cool. You could even use some of the boxes as frames, and hang stuff in them!

    What did you use to seal the tape so paint did not go under?

    This is amazing! Did you have any trouble with the paint peeling along the sealed edges? You know, not from sticking to the tape glue underneath, but from the seal of the paint over the top edge.

    Luckily I didn’t. I used the super delicate tape — not just the blue tape, but the delicate surfaces version. I also took it off as soon as I was sure it had covered.
