Here she is in all her dusty, overworked (but very loved) glory.

I will say no more so as to not jinx it.

Hey, I just got one of these too. I’ve had it about 3 weeks now. Hubby’s idea, an early birthday present – how can one argue with that.
I upgraded from the Bernina 440 and everything about the 820 is absolutely something. Quilting with the differential feed attachment – my seams are perfect; my measurements are spot on!
I haven’t had any classes yet – I don’t have the best dealer in the world but the machine is fantastic. I ordered 30 more bobbins which STILL are not in. I just keep winding and unwinding the 5 I have.
    Congrats to you too!

You lucky duck! I wish I could afford this machine. I just wondering if you were having any kind of problems with yours. I found this link that has a bunch of complaints from owners of this machine: http://www.sewingmachinereviewer.com/bernina-series-8-the-820.html
It kind of makes me think twice about getting it now. But it seems like the most perfect sewing machine.
