1000 Sales Giveaway!

Posted on by in

The giveaway is now closed.  Winners are here.

I got home from tonight’s Triangle Modern Quilt Meeting to see that I had hit 1000 sales on Etsy.

How about a giveaway to celebrate?  Five patterns — one each to five different people.  Leave a comment and let me know which pattern is your favorite (I’m just curious ;) ).  And if you were at tonight’s meeting you got a sneak peak at the new patterns…

Have your entries in by Sunday, April 18th at my bedtime.  I’ll pick the winners by random on Monday (4/19).

My new one I want is Sweet Garden but I also like the stained or broken glass and the triangles. I can’t wait to see your new patterns!!

    congratulations on your sales!!

  4. Jackie

Congratulations on 1000!! That is fantastic!! I really love all your patterns, but if I had to pick just one it would have to be Mrs. Roy G. Biv.

  5. Jenn

Wow – 1000! That’s something to celebrate! My favorite is probably Mod Pod – but I do like Rings of Diamonds, although it looks harder.

  6. Joanna

Congrats on 1000-wow! I’m partial to Another Brick in the Wall and Walking on Broken Glass. HOWEVER, I LOVED Zero One Zero after seeing it at the TMQG tonight!

  8. Mandy

My favourite is Off Your Rocker.

I’ve never bought anything off of Etsy before… but I’d love to have some of your patterns so I might get the courage soon :)

  9. Elle

YAY! Congrats on 1000 sales! As a non-seller, that seems like such an amazing accompishment! My favorite quilt pattern is Twisted, but my husband has never had a quilt made for him, and he LOVES the Plumbers and the Monkey.

  10. Jessica

Congrats on 1000 sales! I love all of your patterns, but Twisted is probably my favorite…I have a bee quilt floating in my mind inspired by it. Also, I just cannot get enough of Mrs. Roy G. Biv.

Can’t wait to see the new patterns!

  11. JoAnna

Twisted and Sweet Gardens…the next two on my “to try” list! Can’t wait to see the new patterns! And congrats on 1000 sales–thats amazing!

  12. kristin

I have to say it is a toss up between Garden Maze and Ring of Diamonds. Congrats on the 1000 sale mark.

  13. Alisa

I love the “Off Your Rocker” quilt pattern. I love the name and the colors used. It’s just so….happy. Congrats on your 1000 sales. Way to go!

  14. Heather

Rings of Diamonds is my favorite of your patterns but I already own it so I guess I’d have to come up with a 2nd favorite if I won! :)
    Thanks for the chance!

  15. Megan

Congratulations on 1000 sales – that’s awesome! Your patterns are all so much fun, but Twisted is my favorite.

  16. Becca

“The Brother” from Super Mario is my favorite pattern for the sole fact that my booyfriend LOVES it and I’m dying to make it for him for his birthday. I made one patchwork quilt when I was 16, but I had the help (ok, they did most of it0 of my Grandma & Great Grandma, so it would be quite the undetaking, but I’m totally up for it!

  17. Ginny

Oh man that is tough to choose a favorite! I don’t own the Twisted one yet and I really want to make it. I would be delighted to win! Congratulations on your sales!

  18. Kelli

Congrats! Thats huge!!! I think my fav is definately twisted! I think that will look awesome in my teenage sons room!

  19. Katrin

I love the video game inspired quilts, esp. Creature Comforts and Ant’s Delight. I would love to win!

  20. Kellie

the next one i most want is no 24 Twisted – so very very cool (and I love the Basic Grey fabric you used for yours). Congrats on the sales – your patterns are awesome so I’m not surprised!

  21. Sarah Kubinski

Congratulations! It’s really hard to just narrow down my favorites. I love both of the garden quilts and another brick in the wall. Thanks for doing a giveaway!

  22. Megan

I love so many of your patterns, but I think Concentric and Twisted are 2 of my favs. I also love Another Brick in the Wall.

  23. Ellen Ban

Congrats on 1000! I’ve bought 4 or 5 of those, all of which I love. My new favorite is Elden Street and I’m looking forward to seeing your new designs! Keep them coming!

  24. Christine LeClair

Congratulations, what an accomplishment! I love your site, your quilts and your patterns! It woudl have to be one of the video game quilts…. But which one…. I guess the plumber… closely followed by space invaders.

  25. Katie in Texas

Mod Pod is currently on my want list. I’ve already got a plan for putting Texas postcards in the center. But, so is Sweet Garden. Do I have to choose just one?

  26. Dawn W

Well, it’s so hard to choose. I’ve made Scrappy Circles (love it), have the Twisted pattern waiting in my pattern drawer just calling my name, and would really like to make Mod Pod. Does that help?

  27. Jessy

Congratulations! You are fabulous and absolutely deserve the success! I can’t decide what my absolute favourite is – I think it is a 3 way tie between Mrs. Roy G. Biv, Twisted and Life Imitating Quilts. I also love the video game quilts – too many fabulous patterns!!

  28. Rhonda

I love Sweet Gardet/Modern Rose Garden (and Mini) but also your Brown Bear pattern. Is that one still available? My daughter loves that book!

  29. Jeanine

  30. Stephanie

I love Twisted! It’s really cool :) This is my first time to your blog… you have great patterns!!

  34. Lucretia Sappington

There are several of your patterns that I like. I have wanted Mini Modern Rose Garden for a while. Love your blog.

  36. fleurette

Hi Emily, congratulations on your 1000 sales. All your patterns are so beautiful but I absolutely adore ” Cottage Maze “. Thank you for a wonderful giveaway.

  37. Katie

It’s a close one between Cottage Maze and Twisted, but if really had to pick one, I think Twisted would win because it looks so cool!

  38. Tong

Congrats on your 100th sale! I really love your patterns! I’ve won one of them at another giveaway before, I got the Summer Sorbet, and I also bought the Super Mario + Zelda combo pattern for my boyfriend, and he’s been bugging me to make them for him. My favourite pattern of the rest of them is Raspberry Swirl Quilt Pattern, it looks so great! Thanks for the giveaway!

  39. Ruth

I love the “Mod Pod.” I have a number of your patterns and love ‘em! Keep up the great work, congrats on the 1000 sales, and thanks for offering a great giveaway!

  40. SewLindaAnn

  54. Kimberly

My personal favorite is Mrs. Roy G. Biv, it’s amazing to look at!. However, if I won, I’d love to get The Plumber and The Monkey pattern. My husband is a huge Donkey Kong fan. I know he’d get a kick out of it. I love all of your more manly quilt patterns. That is such an under rated market!

  66. Debbie Samuelson

No. 020 — Uptown Girl Quilt Pattern
OMGoodness, I find myself lost in blog lands on a daily (all day basis), but it’s too funny that I was just at FQS this morning and fell in love with this pattern! I have no idea how to quilt, I’ve only done rag quilts, but THINK I can do this one, I LOVE it :)

  67. Cathy A

It’s hard to pick just one favorite, but I think it would be the Walking on Broken Glass. Or maybe Twisted…I love the names of your quilts, by the way.

  68. Chris

I am so glad I came over here from Quilt Dad. Your patterns are just wonderful and I might never have come across them. I love No.13 Mrs. Roy G. Biv and No. 24, Twisted.

  69. a

love the another brick in the wall quilt pattern….i’m a reader…love the “stack of books” image it invokes.

  70. Karen

The one I am most excited about at the moment is the Aliend/Racetrack pattern. I have it and the fabrics ready to start. My son loves cars so the Racetrack is for him and his cousin is a mad computer gamer so the Aliens one is for him. Great patterns Emily. I am eagerly awaiting your next ones.

  71. Leslie S.

Since I already own Golden Waves and Another Brick in the Wall, I’ll say my next favorite is either Twisted or Off Your Rocker. I can’t decide!

  72. Valerie in CS

I love the Modern Rose Garden and the Sweet Garden variation — such fun. Liam’s quilt and wall were fabulous!

  73. Carolyn

My favorite is Walking on Broken Glass. I love how it’s geometric but soft at the same time. I made a beautiful quilt with the pattern, using 3 Sisters’ christmas “glace” fabric by moda. I donated the finished quilt to a homeless shelter for their gala and silent auction last fall. It sold for $250! I then ordered more glace to make the quilt again for myself!

  74. Mendi

I am in LOVE with the scrappy circles pattern, I really have wanted to try one but am intimidated.

  75. Marg

You have so many lovely patterns, but I love the Modern Garden pattern, it was hard to choose a favourite.

  76. Frou

I love Concentric and Zero One Zero – Concentric for me, as I love circular shapes, and Zero One Zero I’d make for my geek brother – he’d love it!

  77. Kathee

My favorite is Ordered Chaos but I will be ordering ‘The Plumber and The Donkey’ as well as ‘The Hero and The Brother’ to make for my two boys for Christmas gifts… once I get a few other projects out of the way!!!!

  78. Beverly Atkins

I love Sweet Garden and Uptown Girl – can’t decide between the two. Your quilts are beautiful!

  79. Jamie (Rimes) Mueller

I really like “You can call me Al” But I really like all your patterns! I met you in Houston at Market and LOVED seeing all you quilts up close! My mom owns a Shop in Houston and I know just ordered more of your patterns (hopefully it was hers that made you get 1000 sales) you deserve it!!

  80. Suzanne

I have already purchased the patterns for Off Your Rocker, Walking on Broken Glass and Scrappy Circles. The fabric is ready to go, I just have to sit down and sew them. I love all of your patterns!

  81. Jules

Wow, I love them all, its soo hard to pick but I think my favourite is “You Can Call Me Al” quilt……..I don’t know what it is about that pattern but it’s the one that sings to me the most :)
