just going on a whim, New York.

  2. Cheri says:

Sure, I’m headed back that way and you move out this way… or further… I’m in Utah right now and am headed back to SC end of the month. I’ve been saying, “Maybe I’ll run into the Carolina Patchworks lady”… especially when someone just did one awesome job using your pattern… it’s that garden one… the one I love… Okay… here’s my guess… Washington State… Can I stop there and win?? If I have to guess a city, I would say Seattle.

  3. Barbara says:

Humm. Georgia?? Not sure why maybe cause you’re such a peach!!!

  4. Xandi Hamilton says:

Oh no! I am so sad to lose you from our guild!

Ummm, I will guess Oregon, where all the cool quilters seem to be.

  5. Lydia says:

    Seattle area?

  6. I’m going to say San Jose/Sunnyvale CA only because you said OUT here and knowing your husband it in the IT field (and so is mine and that is where he went once to interview!)

  7. Mary R says:

    Seattle

  8. Melissa says:

Wow, Emily! I’m going to have to guess west coast, not sure where…

Those houses are going to be a mighty bit smaller than your old one!!!!!!

  9. Sequana says:

That pic looks like it could be across the bay from San Fran.

  10. tracey p says:

That’s Seattle! We moved here 4 years ago from Colorado and I love it. Have fun house hunting!

  11. Dawn W says:

I’m thinking Couer’deLane, ID – love that sopt of the world! (However you spell it …)

  12. Colleen says:

I am thinking somewhere in the state of Washington? Happy house hunting!

  13. Mary says:

Ok…so I spot your patterns on FQ Shop and decide to see who and where since it said Carolinas. Your a hop, skip and jump from me and now I see your moving! I’m originally from Bay Area, CA…but in NC now. I’ve also visited friends in Seattle, Washington. My guess is Washington State because of the style of houses.

  14. Amber H says:

Yeah, definitely Seattle Washington or the surrounding area!

  15. Ellen says:

    Looks like Seattle!

  16. GingerCat says:

Someplace where there are no mountains! That is the thing that I noticed the most about all your pictures. 🙂

  17. Missyintx says:

Washington for sure, Seattle most likely. (I cheated and looked at the license plate. lol )

  18. Joanna says:

You’re not allowed to leave!! Our bee was just getting to that comfortable point! ::sigh:: I’m going to say Seattle (my brother lives there) and if that IS the place, you should look him and his supercool wife up!

  19. Alexandra says:

Based on the mountains in the last picture & the water in front of downtown, I’m going with Seattle. Definitely Pacific Northwest. Although as a crafter, Portland is always possible…

  20. Esther says:

    To Sudamérica. Is NICE!!!

  21. Jenn says:

Best guess is Seattle… can’t speak from experience since I have never there, but if that’s where you’re at it is as beautiful as what I imagined it to be!

  22. Brianna says:

Seattle area. They have great quilt shops and lots of creative people, wonderful food, and fabulous lifestyle. I lived there for two years and was more sad to leave the quilt stores than anything else.

  23. Ann says:

I am guessing Washington state or Oregon. What about your buisness name? You mentioned something about Iron Works or Pressing something or another in a post several months ago…maybe related to quilts for your book? How are we going to have a NC book signing party?

  24. Deb C. says:

Michigan? Wow, looks like you’re moving a distance regardless of where. Change is always exciting.

  25. Ellen says:

That looks like my hometown Seattle. Big changes ahead for you!

  26. Aubrey says:

I’m not really sure where that looks like, but it doesn’t look like anywhere in the Carolinas … so are you still going to be “Carolina Patchworks”?

  27. Laura G says:

I’m going to say Seattle because everyone else is…and because I could always use another pattern!

  28. amy says:

I am going to guess Cliff Clavin style, and guess NOT Minnesota. I’m right, right?

  29. Sarah says:

Seattle! That’s the sign for Darling Skincare–last picture–and that’s in Seattle. Very exciting!

  30. Abby says:

sanfransico or seattle! gotta love the hills, and the water!

  31. Norma says:

Gosh I have no idea, but it sure looks lovely. How about California?

  32. Anne says:

I have no idea, just a guess, Seattle………good luck house hunting and moving, such a stressful job but worth it in the end. Stay calm……
