The Kidlets take on the Triangle Modern Quilt Guild

Posted on by in Kids

(ok, totally a week behind on this post…)

So I was torn on whether or not to even *try* and go to the guild meeting last weekend.  I wanted to go but did I want to risk it turning into a complete meltdown where all three of us end up leaving asap in tears?

I decided to give it a go… so at the tender ages of 3 and 6, my kids attended their first quilt guild meeting. Liam could really have cared less where he was — he had a cup of water, goldfish, his wall-e quilt and an iphone with wall-e playing. Maeve was excited to see the quilts and loved sharing her Olivia quilt (you know, the ones I made for the kids and never blogged about because this summer has been insane? yeah, that one).

Mommy’s and Daddy’s old iphones make awesome entertainment for kidlets.

I promise they weren’t bored. Just chillin’ and watching movies.

  6. I absolutely love your blog and find the majority of your post’s to be precisely what I’m looking for. Would you offer guest writers to write content for you personally? I wouldn’t mind creating a post or elaborating on a few of the subjects you write concerning here. Again, awesome weblog!
