Introducing: Bedroom in Arles

First, how many of you cringe when you see one of my pictures with a quilt on the sand, moss, rocks, etc? The sand doesn’t bother me too much… but the railings where birds land and their, uh, output land scare me. Like here:

I always inspect the area but I’m constantly afraid that I’ve missed a spot. (Yeah, the ‘?’ quilt is baaack.) There are these neat stairs by the seawall and the water and they look so cool but they are quite popular with the birds. That wall scares me. And if you live here, you’ll know that this picture was not taken today.

I admit that I was not in the picture taking mood today. Market is a week away and the to-do list is ridiculously long. I’m more in the take-the-picture-and-get-it-done-with mood.

So, with that stellar-Emily-is-uber-stressed-and-grumpy intro, I present Vincent van Gogh’s Bedroom in Arles:

I chose this quilt as the second quilt for the booth because it was so bright and just popped. It had a different feel to it than the others and I thought it would be a good contrast to Mona Lisa.

Again, all of The Fine Art Series have the exact Kona colors listed. Fun!

I’ve always wanted a Bedroom with a view. Ba-dum ching.

Pattern is available here and all of the new spring patterns are in and shipping! Ginormous pile of mail (pre-orders shipped!) for the mailman on the porch today. Sorry Mr. Mailman.
