The Bathroom Floor Quilt (aka Pomaceous)

I {heart} 1956.

That’s the bathroom floor. I love it.

I knew the minute we moved in it would soon be a quilt. But did I want to include the grout? And I think I need a way around the crazy seams right?

So now we have No. 060 — Pomaceous.

More of Angela’s awesome quilting.

I also (apparently) have a thing for flinging quilts off bridges. Didn’t really make the best picture but hey, I got to fling a quilt off the bridge!

I decided against including grout lines but I did make the piecing simple. Promise. This is a super-quick project (well, not the king-sized version, but nothing king-sized is quick).

And now I promise to never post pictures of my bathroom floor again.

PDF versions of Pomaceous and all the other new patterns are now available for instant download. Enjoy!

I too love 1956, it is the year I was born. I also love your quilt and your bathroom floor. I make a quilt with this same quilt block and it really is easier then it look.

This is beautiful and I love how you photograph your quilts. And if you ever do get anymore bathroom floors that make great quilt patters…please share! LOL
