A pretty day…

For a handsome (and goofy) little boy…

To turn four…

And play with cool new trucks…

And actually hug his sister without the two of them trying to kill each other…

Apparently it takes her giving him Spencer as a gift for this to happen.

Looking back, though, things haven’t changed too much…

He planned his dinner (Cars ™ mac& cheese and a plate o’ fruit) and his cake (chocolate, M&Ms and Wall-E)…

You’ve come a long way little dude. 

I still get emotional when thinking of his pregnancy. I have this one picture that Sean took of him in the NICU that will forever be etched in my memory of his birth. It wasn’t easy but he’s here and all is good. Very good.

Our Easter can be summed up in three simple pictures.

Calm breakfast.

Pure insanity.

Sugar crash.

We were promised snow. Lots of snow. The news had stories of whiteout conditions, cars being abandoned, roads being closed, places getting hammered with snow.

How much snow did we get here in our part of Seattle? Here’s Liam to sum it up for us:

They tried to play as best they could. Maeve wanted to go make more snow out of ice cubes from the kitchen.
