Here’s May. I went back to a slightly saner color palette with this one.

Here’s a shot with the five blocks together. I think it’s pretty darn cute. The background white/ivory/bone/whatever is different for each one — on purpose!

Here’s April. I started this after some more wonderful colors showed up and as a result, I went a wee bit crazy with the colors. I was somewhat afraid of how crazy it was going to look and that it wouldn’t fit in with the rest of the months that I already stitched. But, I did a picture with all 5 blocks (May will go up tomorrow) and they look great! I’m hoping to order my setting fabrics tonight and will start the assembly sometime this summer.

Ironing Table

This is something I’ve wanted to do since about a month after the business started. How many years later now? But it’s done.

I’m sure there are a million tutes out there for making these. I just wanted something tall and wide enough to iron the WOF without moving anything.

My back will appreciate it.

I’ve stretched many canvases in my day. Folding corners is like riding a bike.

Lots of layers later then the top went on. I didn’t worry too much about the bottom being pristine. If you judge me for what the underside of my ironing board looks like, then perhaps you are the one with the problem.

All done. I also made a cover for easy washing. Perfect.

Next up for the studio… the sewing table. Expect that to be complete by 2016 or so.

I’ve held off doing this month’s Aurifil block because I’ve been anxiously awaiting this box of loveliness.

It should compliment the existing Aurifil 12wt that I have just wonderfully.

Now to stitch!

No, it’s not over-saturated in Photoshop. That’s actually how red they are.
